Not your typical nerd herder, Andrew is a dedicated weekend warrior. When he’s not getting around the basketball courts, he can be found enjoying a spot of waterskiing or some serious snowboarding (depending on the season). Born and raised in Ballarat, Andrew is a highly skilled practitioner in property development and property-related transactions, business restructuring and planning, sale/acquisition of businesses, wealth management and self-managed superannuation, tax planning and minimisation, finance applications and funding and succession planning.

Peter Rutley

Peter Rutley

Director

Born and raised in Ballarat, Peter is passionate about supporting his local community and has acted as treasurer for his beloved Buninyong Football Club for more than 10 years. Peter has experience across a wide range of industries including construction, manufacturing, hospitality, medical and pharmacy clients. Specialising in business and taxation planning, profit improvement and business structuring, he also offers extensive expertise in personal and business income tax, cash flow management, budgeting and self-managed superannuation fund advice.

Daina MacLeod

Daina MacLeod

Director

Daina has been working public practice since 2002, mainly in the areas of Business Advisory, Tax, Self-Managed Superannuation and has a background in I.T. She is passionate about working closely with small to medium businesses to improve their internal business structures, gain insight into strategic direction and to help them achieve their personal and business goals. An in depth experience across a number of industries including medical, agriculture, construction, and manufacturing also dealing in the areas of exporting, research & development and international tax.  Daina serves on a number of boards, spends a lot of time in the community with her young family and is never far away from a tennis or netball court.

A graduate of University of Ballarat, Daniel joined the team in June 2019. Daniel has over 8 years of experience in SMSF and Tax, and is a member of CPA. Out of the office he enjoys playing football for North Ballarat Football Club and an avid follower of the Essendon football club.

Kristina recently joined our firm as a graduate accountant after completing a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting and is currently studying to become a CPA. Kristina is enthusiastic about her work and looks forward to developing her professional and accounting skills further in order to help clients achieve their business goals. Study and family commitments permitting, Kristina likes to head off camping and fishing in her spare time.

Danielle joined our team in 2012 and her superb attention to detail has made her an invaluable member of our team. Danielle has a special interest in working with self managed super funds. She welcomed her first child in July 2017 and then twins in August 2019 so you know that her multitasking skills are on point. In her ‘spare time’ she enjoys to cook.

Ballarat born and raised, Mikaela joined our team as a graduate accountant in 2017 after completing her Bachelor of Commerce, Majoring in Accounting and Bachelor of Management double degree. Mikaela is passionate about her work and is a breath of fresh air around the office. Outside of the office, Mikaela enjoys spending time with her fur babies Milo & Lexi.

Kayla barracks for Collingwood. If you’re a fellow Pies fan, it won’t matter what comes next – we know you’ll get along famously. For those not so inclined, read on! We know you’ll grow to love Kayla just as much as we do. Kayla is new to the firm and the accounting industry, but has more than seven years’ experience in customer service and is thoroughly enjoying learning the ropes around the office. She has a certificate in MYOB, is very people-orientated, willing to have a laugh and goes above and beyond to assist our clients.

Rebekah is currently studying her Commerce degree with a Law major as she is highly interested in all things law and regulation related! In her spare time Rebekah enjoys camping, hiking and is a downhill snow skier enthusiast. During the footy season Rebekah is a keen follower of the Richmond tigers!

Cassandra has an extensive retail/customer service background and new to the accounting world, but is enjoying the challenge that her new career brings. Through her experience in customer service she prides herself on being approachable, understanding and easy going. Outside of the office she has a love of indoor plants and is pure rev head / major car enthusiast.

Danielle has over 20 years Administration experience, with a background in payroll, accounts payable/receivable, debtor management, ASIC, ATO dealings and general admin with excellent attention to detail. On top of all this Danielle Likes to learn new things, enjoys working as part of a team and has an easy going personality who likes a good laugh. In her spare time in between running kids around to all their after school & weekend activities Danielle enjoys hanging out with family / friends and enjoys overseas travel with my husband and 2 kids.
